cotton feed sacks from the estate collection of a quilter from Waco, ga. Wawena E. Miles.
selvedge woven cotton, printed with bright patterns designed to convince customers to buy one company's product over another. originally holding dry goods, like sugar, flour or seed corn, lots of families from the depression era collected these sacks to reuse in quilting, clothing or for house hold needs like tea towels or curtains.
these were collected but never used, so we have used them here for this collection of shirts to hopefully complete the circle.
